PURPOSE:To improve reliability in control over car-mounted machinery and equipment ever so better, by installing control programs of the same contents in a read-only memory, while checking the contents at each group and, when there are such groups as including abnormal data, selecting each so as to use a normal one instead. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 1 performs the command of a mask ROM4 in conformity with the control program stored in this mask ROM4 while synchronizing a clock signal out of an OSC2, and on basis of various input signals to be inputted into an I/O6 and data to stored in an EP-ROM5, it calculates and processes them. And, the result is fed to the I/O6, controlling operations of various machinery and equipment. In time of making a power source 8, first of all a check program to be stored in the ROM4 is put into practice, and afterward the control program is performed whereby reliability in machinery and equipment is improved. |
