PURPOSE:To prevent bubbles from penetrating into an ink-pressurizing chamber and prevent pressure variations from occurring in the chamber, by a construction wherein a head is constructed by joining two resin-molded substrates, and a part of a wall of a common liquid chamber is constituted of a thin-walled plate. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle substrate 1 consists of an integrally molded resin body comprising a common liquid chamber part 2, a thin-walled part 3, an ink passage 4, the ink-pressurizing chamber 5, a nozzle 6 and the like, and a vibrating substrate 10 consisting of an integrally molded resin body comprising a connecting part 11, a pressurizing plate 12 and a vibration-transmitting rod 13 is joined to the substrate 1 to construct a nozzle head. With the thin-walled part 3 molded as one body with the substrate 1, pressure variations can be effectively absorbed. In addition, by covering the thin-walled part 3 with a metallic plate, it is possible to ensure air permeation resistance, moisture permeation resistance or the like of the part 3, and to prevent the ink viscosity from being varied and bubbles from being generated due to an increase in the degree of dissolution of gases in an ink. |
