Disclosed is a refrigerator oil containing an ester of a polyhydric alcoh ol and a fatty acid containing 50-100% by mole of a fatty acid having 5-9 ca rbon atoms, not less than 30% by mole of a branched fatty acid having 5-9 ca rbon atoms, and not more than 40% by mole of a linear fatty acid having 5 or less carbon atoms. This refrigerator oil is characterized by being used tog ether with a fluoropropene refrigerant and/or a trifluoroiodomethane refrige rant. Also disclosed is a working fluid composition for refrigerator, which is characterized by containing the above-mentioned ester, and a fluoropropen e refrigerant and/or a trifluoroiodomethane refrigerant. |
