PURPOSE:To remove completely the remaining part of solder adhering to a soldering iron tip and a burnt flux by executing an absorbing action and a compressed air blowing action by switching suitably a vacuum generating source and a compressed air generating source. CONSTITUTION:When a piston 9 is slid in the direction as indicated with an arrow C, a cylindrical body 4 moves in the direction as indicated with an arrow A, and approaches a solder holding part 2 of a soldering iron tip 1. When a changeover valve 12 is switched so that a pipe 11 and a vacuum pump 13 communicate with each other, air in a nozzle 5 and the cylindrical body 4 is absorbed into the vacuum pump 13, and the remaining part of solder adhering to a solder coating and sticking part 2 and a small particle of a burnt flux are not hardened but flow into a receiver vessel 7 and are stored, because the cylindrical body 4 is heated in advance by a heating device 3. Also, when a changeover valve 12 is switched so that the vacuum pump 13 and the pipe 11 are closed up, a compressed air of a blower 14 is jetted from the nozzle 5, and blows away a large particle of the burnt flux which has remained in the solder coating and sticking part 2.
