PURPOSE:To achieve a better selection accuracy, by combining two detectors different in the wavelength characteristic, a tester for computing a light output detected therewith and a handler having a function of automatically sending out material to be measured and a function of housing a product as divided by the computed values of the light output. CONSTITUTION:A detector 1 having a wavelength characteristic close to the relative luminosity factor and a detector 2 having an even wavelength characteristic in all visible light areas are arranged at stable positions respectively and light outputs of an number light emitting diode 3 is detected with the detectors 1 and 2 to input the value thereof into a tester 4. The values are computed to provide an direction to a handler 5 so that the housing box 6 will be divided depending on the computed values. The wavelength to be divided is selectable as desired.
