PURPOSE:To detect data collision on a communication line with simple circuit constitution by comparing a data of a transmission address section included in a data received from a bus line with a data of the transmission address section stored. CONSTITUTION:In sending a packet data to a transceiver 12, a bit of a data of the transmission address section is stored one by bit in a data storage section 20 synchronously with a transmission clock. The stored data is fetched sequentially one by one bit each by using a reception clock in the timing of the data of the transmission address section included in the received data from the transceiver 12 and the data is compared with the received data by a dissidence detecting circuit 16. When they are coincident, it is the normal state where no collision takes place and when dissident, it is detected that collision takes place. Thus, the detection of collision is attained surely by simple circuit constitution.
