PURPOSE:To perform the excellent atomization by sepecifying the injection velocity of a high viscous fluid, a ratio of the mass flow rate of a spraying medium and the high viscous fluid and the sauter means diameter of an atomized grain of the high viscous fluid. CONSTITUTION:In an atomizing method for a high viscous fluid, the injection velocity of the high viscous fluid fed to an atomization chamber 1 is made to 2-30m/sec preferably 5-15m/sec and a ratio Ma/Ml of the mass flow rate Ma of a spraying medium and the mass flow rate Ml of the high viscous fluid is held in >=0.5 preferably >=1.0 and furthermore the sauter means diameter of an atomized grain of the high viscous fluid is made to <=100mum difinitely 50-100mum. In such a way, the high viscous fluid can be atomized in <=100mum sauter mean diameter of the atomized grain thereof and can be made to a raw material having the less energy consumption and the less resource consumption.
