PURPOSE:To cause high voltage electric charge accumulated in a lighting capacitor to be released for keeping voltage at safe and low level, when a power supply is turned off after lighting a flashlight. CONSTITUTION:The second trigger capacitor 17 is connected in parallel to a trigger capacitor 13A via a reversed flow preventing diode 18, and when a power supply is turned off, the charge of the capacitor 17 is released to a trigger transformer 12, thereby triggering a xenon lamp 8. When the power supply is turned off, therefore, a trigger pulse is generated only once with the charge of the capacitor 17, thereby lighting the lamp 8 forcibly for releasing charge accumulated in a lighting capacitor 6. |
