PURPOSE:To replenish a toner easily and surely independently of the arraying position of a developing unit by providing a toner replenishing device body with a toner replenishing cylinder which can be connected to a toner receiving part of an electrostatic recorder body. CONSTITUTION:A flexible long replenishing cylinder 3 which has a discharge hole 4 in the front end is attached integrally under one side of a toner storage vessel 1 mounted on a moving truck 2. When the front end of the toner replenishing cylinder 3 is inserted to a receiving cylinder 26 opened to the side of a developing unit 22, a toner upper limit detecting sensor 27 in the side of the developing unit 22 is connected to a control circuit 12 in the side of the toner replenishing device through a jack 28 and a plug 10. When a toner replenishing switch 11 is operated, a valve 8 attracted to an electromagnet 7 opens the discharge hole 4, and simultaneously, a screw feeder 6 driven by a motor 5 feeds out the toner in the vessel 1 from the toner replenishing cylinder 3 to the toner receiving cylinder 26 to feed the toner to a toner hopper 23 through a toner recovering pipe 25.
