DIGITAL SYNCHRONIZING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To separate a mixed synchronizing signal into a horizontal and a vertical synchronizing signal by means of a simple circuit by forming an integrated circuit for a digital synchronizing separator circuit while using a latch pulse generating circuit, a latch circuit and an exclusive OR circuit. CONSTITUTION:The latch pulse generating circuit IC1 generates a latch pulse signal (b) having a pulse width wider than the pulse width of a horizontal synchronizing pulse signal of the mixed synchronizing signal inputted from a mixed synchronizing signal input (i) and narrower than the pulse interval. When the pulse width of the latch pulse signal (b) is narrower than the pulse width of the mixed synchronizing signal (i), the latch circuit 2 latches the result and outputs it as a vertical synchronizing signal (c). The exclusive OR circuit IC3 receives the mixed synchronizing signal input (i) and the vertical synchronizing signal (c) and oututs the horizontal synchronizing signal (a).
