PURPOSE:To facilitate dust-production and prevent a brush from being taken out of a guide groove, by forming the setting section of a pigtail in a flattened shape, and by inserting the section into brush material to compressionfix the section so that the surface direction of the flattened surface may be directed to the height direction of the brush orthogonal to the surface of the brush in sliding contact with a commutator. CONSTITUTION:A motor 1 is provided with a brush 2 and a commutator 3, and the brush 2 is set on the sliding surface so that a surface A along the rotational direction of the commutator 3, a surface B along the direction of a shaft core, and respective surfaces may be made to be height C, and is organized to set A<B. A brush holder 4 is set on a holder stay 5, and into the holder 4, the brush 2 is fitted in frequent appearance, and the brush 2 is spring-pressure-energized on the side of the commutator 3 by a spring 2a. Against the surface A of the brush, a guide groove 4b is formed, and both the side sections 4a of the groove are formed to be the engaging section of the brush 2. The setting section of a pigtail 6 is previously formed in a flattened shape, and is inserted into brush material so that the surface direction of the flattened surface 6a may be directed to the height direction of the brush 2 orthogonal to the sliding surface 2, and is compression-fixed by dust-forming in this state.
