PURPOSE:To evade a state that an incoming call is left unprocessed without being noticed by the operator of a terminal equipment, by displaying the incoming call at the time of arriving at the terminal equipment, even while the terminal equipment is not in an operating state. CONSTITUTION:A power source is always supplied to an NCU31 even in a state that the power to other parts is shut off, and an operation to wait the incoming call from a switching circuit network 1 is continued. To the terminal equipment of a destination address registered in a mail box 2, a mail incoming call display signal is outputted from the switching circuit network 1. Also, the mail incoming call display signal is transmitted to the destination address of the terminal equipment 30 in case of registering the address in the mail box 2. A flip-flop in the NCU31 is set by the mail incoming call display sig nal, and continues a set state even after it disappears. While the flip-flop is in the set state by the control of the flip-flop, a mail incoming call display lamp 34 is set in a lighting state.
