PURPOSE:To attract the whole of a molded form to the main body of an electroformed mold surely by vacuum, connect the main body of the electroformed mold to a temperature regulating tube thermally and closely and permit a mold temperature to be maintained within an optimum range at all times by a method wherein, a metallic cotton type body is arranged on the rear surface of the electroformed mold main body, equipped with a multitude of through holes, while the temperature regulating tube is abutted against the cotton type body. CONSTITUTION:An electroformed mold 1 is constituted of the main body 2 thereof, equipped with a multitude of through holes, and accessories, which are attached detachably to a reinforcing mold 3. A metallic temperature regulating tube 11 is arranged on the rear surface of the mold main body 2 and temperature regulating medium such as oil or the like is made to flow through the tube 11 while a cotton type body 12, made of stainless steel, is arranged so as to surround the temperature regulating tube 11. A metallic reticulated body 13 is arranged below the cotton type body 12 through bolts 10 and is clamped upwardly by first nuts 14. When the mold 1 is set to a vacuum molding device, a resin sheet 23, from which the skin of a lid for a console box for motorcar is prepared, is arranged on the mold main body 2 and the inside of the reinforcing mold 3 is evacuated by a vacuum pump 22, air in the side of the skin surface 7 is sucked through the through holes 6. In this case, the cotton type body 12 does not preclude air ventilation and the temperature of the main body of the electroformed mold may be maintained within an optimum temperature at all times.
