PURPOSE:To increase a structural strength and to simplify the structure by providing the joint steel material of a joint contour shape formed at the collection part where the end part of a steel plate material is collected and constructing a steel structure by performing a butt welding of the end part the steel plate material to this joint steel material. CONSTITUTION:A joint steel material 6 is formed in the Y shape extending the material end part 2a of an inner bottom plate 2 horizontally to the right part as it is, extending the material end part 3a of a side beam plate 3 vertically to the upper part as it is, extending the material end part 4a of a slanting plate 4 as it is and formed by joining each other. The steel structure is built by interposing this joint steel material 6 among these end parts 2a, 3a, 4a and welding by abutting each other. A joint structure is thus composed of an integral joint steel material and a high strength is secured.
