PURPOSE:To protect a lip seal part from elastic deformation when a link and a bush have displaced relatively in a thrust direction, and obtain a dust seal device of excellent durability by applying a resilient force for contacting the lip seal part slidably with the edge of the bush. CONSTITUTION:The pressing part 31 of a load ring 9 is in pressed contact with the conical face 23a of a seal ring 21 and the internal surface 30b of a mounting base 30. A resilient force available therefrom is used to make the lip seal part 24 of the seal ring 21 contact slidably with the edge 5a of a bush 5. According to the aforesaid constitution, when a link 2 and the bush 5 have displaced relatively in a thrust direction, the lip seal part 24 of the seal ring 21 can be made free from elastic deformation. Therefore, there is no dust caught with little change in the contact part with the edge 5a of the bush 5 and in the lip seal angle, and the lip seal part 24 is not worn early, thereby ensuring the dust seal device of excellent durability.
