PURPOSE:To enable increase in the display capacity of a digital display signal, by thinning out a PPI sweep at a dense part of a pulse position indication (PPI) sweep near the center of a radar indicator. CONSTITUTION:A video memory 1 receives a radar video signal to perform a writing and reading of a video alternately at each PPI sweep based on a synchronous signal. The radar video signal 101 is written into a video memory 1 and that 101 written during the period of generating the synchronous signal is read out. A delay video read out is added up with an adder 3 to the radar video signal 101 at every sweeping to prevent decrease in display information and is displayed as video display signal 102, which is sent to a switching circuit 2 and outputted by switching under the control of a switching signal together with a digital display signal 103 to be radar displayed 20. This enables increase in the display capacity of digital display signals without lowering the amount of radar video information.
