PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which is excellent in painting workability and curability, can give a paint film excellent in hardness and gloss and is useful for printing or top-coating woodworks. CONSTITUTION:A compound (a) having an allyl ether group of formula I (e.g., pentaerythritol ether) and/or a compound (b) containing cis-3-methyl-4- cyclohexene-cis,cis-1,2-dicarboxylic acid anhydride unit of formula II, an unsaturated polybasic acid (c) such as maleic anhydride and an alcohol component (d) such as diethylene glycol are reacted with each other to obtain an unsaturated polyester (A) containing group of formula I and/or units of formula II and having 100-450 equivalent of unsaturated groups. 10-45pts.wt. component A is mixed with 15-60pts.wt. styrene monomer (B) and 15-75pts.wt. polyfunctional (meth)acrylic compound (C) of formula III [wherein at least four R groups are (meth)acryloxy groups and the rest are organic groups other than those and n is 1-5].
