PURPOSE:To effectively utilize an amount of heat to be radiated, by fixing a heat exchanger having a refrigerant pipe connecting port to a compressor body housing. CONSTITUTION:A compressor body housing 1 is provided wit a refrigerant discharge pipe 2, a refrigerant intake pipe 3 and an accumulator 4. A heat exchanger 5 formed from an aluminum alloy extruded plate is fixed to a side wall of an inner cylinder of the body housing 1. Ports 13 and 14 are connected at positions such that a state of a refrigerant flowing through the heat exchanger 5 changes from a liquid state to a gas state. Accordingly, it is possible to effect heat exchange such that an amount of heat to be provided per unit time is increased.
