PURPOSE:To prevent the sliding of structure by a method in which a connecting cylinder is set on the upper ends of piles driven into the front side of an existing structure by lapping them by a given length, and the upper part of the connecting cylinder is connected with the structure. CONSTITUTION:A hollow pile 9 is driven through a mound 3 into the ground in front of an existing caisson 4, and a connecting cylinder 7 consisting of a cylinder 12 and a head 13 is set on the upper end of the pile 9. The cylinder 12 and the upper part of the pile 9 are lapped with each other and connected with the cylinder 7 on the side of the bottom slab of the caisson 4.
