PURPOSE:To remarkably decrease troublesome operating and recording work to always make an original information and an actual recording information coincident with each other by providing a picture recording means that applies variable power to a picture information read by a picture reading means, and records it in a recording position designated by a recording position designation means. CONSTITUTION:An area designation means (a) designates a picture area to be read and recorded in a picture recorded on a picture information recording medium (p), and the recording position designation means (b) designates the recording position for the said picture information. The picture recording means (d) enlarges the picture information read by the picture reading means (c) into a prescribed size or the designated size, and records it as a copy in a prescribed position other than the picture area on the medium (p) or in the blank position designated by the means (b). Therefore, no discrepancy occurs between an information in the information recording medium (p) and an information copied outside said medium, and the reliability of a copied information is remarkably improved.
