PURPOSE:To effectively transmit vibration to a butter pile by a method in which friction rings are provided for both sides of the pile, and rotated, and a vibration mechanism interlocking with them is provided to the upside of the frame in such a way as to permit the transmission point of vibration can be varied freely. CONSTITUTION:Friction rings 2 and 2' are provided for both sides of a batter pile 1, and rings 3 and 3' are provided for the opposite sides and clamped with a clamp bolt 4 to increase the friction with the pile 1. Chain wheels 5 and 5' are turned around shafts through a chain by a prime mover 8 to permit the rotation to be transmitted to the rings 2, 2', 3, and 3'. Vibrators A and B are set on both sides of the pile by balancing them on the frame and turned reversely to each other. The pile can thus be driven in narrow places where manual transport is allowed but a heavy machine is refused.
