PURPOSE:To reduce the maintenance manhour and prevent the dispersion of transported articles by supporting the undersurface at the both side edge parts of a conveyor belt by a plurality of rollers which are supported by a plate- shaped elastic body and applied with a friction reducing material on the outer peripheral surface, in the captioned device in the vicinity of the lower opened port part of a chute. CONSTITUTION:In the vicinity of a lower opened port edge of a chute 3, a plurality of rollers 22 are arranged in contact with the undersurface of a con veyor belt 2 in the direction of length of the conveyor belt 2. The roller 22 is installed on the whole length in the surface contact with a plate-shaped elastic body 23, and supported by a frame 24. Further, the outer peripheral surface of the roller 22 is made of the friction reducing material such as fluorinated resin, etc. With such constitution, the shock in the case when a transported article is supplied from the chute 3 is lightened by the deformation of the center part 2a of the conveyor belt 3. Therefore, the breakage and dispersion of the transported articles due to the shock can be prevented, and maintenance can be carried out in simple ways.
