PURPOSE:To obtain a gap of the titled pannel with high accuracy by packing the liquid crystal display element with a vacuum in a bag composed from a flexible sheet made from an uncured resin, and then, by curing the resin in a pressured state of the titled panel with an atmosphere pressure after returning the vacuum to said pressure. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal element is formed by injecting a liquid crystal composition into said element, followed by sealing an inlet with an adhesive curable resin, and said element is packed with the vacuum in the bag 9 composed from the flexible sheet made from the uncured resin. And then, the resin is cured in the pressured state of the titled panel 8 with the atmosphere pressure, after returning the vacuum to said atmosphere. Accordingly, as the resin is cured in the uniformly pressured state of the titled panel with the atmosphere pressure, the irregularity in a panel gap due to the swelling of the panel and the unevenness of the roughness of a glass substrate are reformed. Thus, the titled panel with the high gap accuracy is easily obtd.
