PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which causes no trouble of poor conductivity of an electrical switch pint of an electric or electronic device, by mixing a specified room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition with a nitrogenous basic compound. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprising 100pts.wt. organopolysiloxane (A) end-blocked with a hydroxyl, alkoxyl or alkoxysilylalkyl group and having a viscosity at 25 deg.C of 20-1,000,000cSt, 0.5-15pts.wt. alkoxysilane of formula I (wherein R<1> is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R<2> is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R<2> is a monovalent hydrocarbon group or an alkoxyl-substituted hydrocarbon group, and a is 0 or 1) or its partial hydrolyzate (B) (e.g., tetramethoxysilane) acting as a crosslinking agent for component, A, 0.1-10pts. wt. titanium catalyst (C) (e.g., a compound of formula II) and 0.00001-40pts.wt. nitrogenous basic compound (D) (e.g., N,N,N',N'-tetraethylethylenediamine). This composition can be stored for a long time under sealed conditions, can cure in air within a short time, and causes no trouble of poor conductivity of an electric switch point of an electric or electronic device.
