MANUFACTURE OF REDUCED DEFORMED REINFORCING STEEL MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a reduced deformed reinforcing steel material having an accurate dimension and shape by wire drawing a base wire rod to form into a wire rod with a prescribed dimension and by drawing the wire rod through a roller die formed kaliber by electrochemical machining. CONSTITUTION:The base wire rod is drawn by a wire drawing machine to form a prescribed wire rod and it is put into an annealing furnace in inert gas atmosphere to anneal. Then, the kaliber having a desired shape and dimension is formed by machining and electrochemical machining. Subsequently, the wire rod is drawing worked through the roller die using this roller to form the reduced deformed reinforcing steel material having a fine ruggedness.
