PURPOSE:To efficiently input the Japanese language by using the relative vowel method where the second stroke has a meaning relatively to the position of the first stroke and using a virtual keyboard together and displaying a help picture. CONSTITUTION:In case of the use of sixteen key pads, numeric and alphabetic codes are added on a keyboard and five sounds (a), (i), (u), (e), and (o) are displayed as vowels. For example, when the center key framed with a thick line is keyed for the first stroke corresponding to a consonant, the second stroke corresponding to a vowel corresponds to a code on the vowel display. That is, the relative vowel method where the second stroke has a meaning relatively is used to the position of the first stroke. The virtual keyboard is used together for a beginner to facilitate the operation or the same key is pressed down three times to display the help picture of special codes. Thus, the Japanese language can directly inputted at a high speed through a telephone and the Japanese language is efficiently inputted.
