PURPOSE:To reduce improper air gap by providing plural through holes the opening of each of which is partly closed by the joining face of an installing leg in the vicinity of a bolt inserting hole on each corner part of a stator core for housing a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical hole 14, bolt inserting holes 15, and slots 16 for housing a winding are provided on a stator core 12 for housing a rotor. And, plural through holes 17 are provided in the vicinity of the bolt inserting hole 15 on each corner part, in such positions that a part of the opening of each through hole 17 is closed by the joining face A of an installing leg. Thereby, the stator core 12 can cut into the installing leg particularly deeply in the vicinity of the through hole 17, thereby, reducing improper air gap.
