PURPOSE:To drive a semiconductor device with light within a specific range of wavelengths, by equipping a light transmitting plate which can shield light within a specific range of wavelengths and convert light entering from the outside into an electric signal to drive an external circuit. CONSTITUTION:A light entering from the outside is converted with a semiconductor element 2 through a light transmitting plate 4 into an electric signal to drive an external circuit. Using a plate capable of shielding a light within a specific range of wavelengths as the light transmitting plate 4 enables driving a light driving type semiconductor device with a light within a specific range of wavelengths without using an external apparatus. For example, a white balance adjusting semiconductor device of a video camera requires a filter to shield infrared rays, however, if the light transmitting plate 4 shielding infrared rays is used, no infrared rays filter is required and the plate can fully function. |
