PURPOSE:To enhance strength and moisture permeability by providing steam holes to the mold part corresponding to the upper surface part of the protruding part in a predetermined die and also providing steam holes to the predetermined positioning plate of the protruding upper surface part of the die part corresponding to the side surface part of the protruding part. CONSTITUTION:In a die wherein the cavity formed by a core die and a cavity die is filled with polyolefinic resin foamable beads and the ratio of the protruding height H and width W of the protruding part of a middle partition plate is H/W>=10/1 and the height H is 80mm or more, steam holes are provided to the mold part corresponding to the upper surface part of the protruding part and steam holes are also provided to the side surfaces of the protruding part at a position lower by 80mm or more from the protruding upper surface part of the mold part corresponding to said side surface. That is, a large number of steam holes 8a are provided to the die part 4a corresponding to the upper surface part of the protruding part of a molded product and, further, a large number of steam holes 8b are provided to the side surface of the protruding part at a predetermined height or less nearer to the base part 2b thereof. Steam holes 8 are provided at a position lower by 80mm or more from the upper surface part 2a of the protruding part. The vicinity of the base part can be heated without disturbing the flow of steam in the vicinity of the leading end part of the protruding part. |
