PURPOSE:To improve printing performance while maintaining sensitivity by coating an Al support with a polymer having specified two kinds of functional groups in the side chain in the form of a middle layer. CONSTITUTION:When a photopolymerizable photosensitive layer contg. a polymerizable compd. having an ethylenic unsatd. bond and a photopolymn. initiator is formed on an Al support, this support is previously coated with a polymer having a group represented by formula I and a functional group having a bond represented by formula II in the side chain in the form of a middle layer. In the formula I, each of R<1>-R<3> is H, halogen, etc., Z<1> is O, S, -NH- or -NR<4>- (R<4> is alkyl) and Y<1> is a single bond or a combining group consisting of two or more kinds of atoms selected among C, H, N, O and S. A planographic printing plate having high sensitivity and superior printing resistance is obtd. |
