<p>The sticks are releasably connected by a bayonet coupling (25) which has a coupling pin and coupling socket. The rear stick (14) has the socket fitted in the end of its hand grip (22), and the front stick (12) has the socket in the rear side of the arm support. When the crutch is placed in contact with the ground with the lower end of the rear stick, the lower end of the front stick is at a free height above the ground (31). The crutch can be placed in a stable rest position resting e.g. against a wall.</p> |
