<p>PURPOSE:To solve congestion early by sending a congestion notice signal to a virtual call only relating to a data packet processed during congestion. CONSTITUTION:When a specific line 3 is in congestion, a line unit congestion detection means 4 informs congestion to a regulation notice means 2, which gives a traffic regulation command for congestion to a flow control processing section 5 of a line. While the flow control processing section 5 brings the state of its own line to the congestion state, when reception or transmission processing of a data packet is implemented during the congestion, the processing to send a congestion notice signal to only a virtual call relating to the data packet is started. Thus, the effect on the virtual call is reduced independently of the congestion and the congestion is solved early.</p> |
