PURPOSE:To let a driver recognize the directions and each destinations of branches precisely by receiving crossing point information from a beacon and the like and displaying separately the directions of the branches and each destination according to the number of the branches. CONSTITUTION:In the case present position information is input from a beacon receiver 4 by way of a navigation information provider 1 during driving, the car position data is input as the initial position of the car and the track indicated on a display 9 is renewed. When the information provider 1 takes in the information (displayed block information) concerning the number of branches of the crossing, the direction of each branch, each destination or road names, a navigation controller 8 produces each block with indication of branch directions and destinations according to the number of branches and indicates them separately on the display 9. Thus a driver can catch the shape of the crossing at glance of the screen and judge which direction he or she should go. |
