PURPOSE:To vary the frequency characteristics of a musical sound to be generated in real time at all times by the electronic musical instrument. CONSTITUTION:A sound source 2 generates a musical sound signal TS according to performance information of a keyboard 1 and supplies it to a graphic equalizer 3. The graphic equalizer 3 is equipped with plural band-pass filters BP1-BP5, which filter the musical sound signal TS with their frequency characteristics. Control keys which are some of the keys of the keyboard 1 are provided with pressure sensors, which output coefficients C1-C5 corresponding to depressed key pressure. The filtered musical sound signals TS1-TS5 are multiplied by multipliers Ml-M5 by the coefficients C1-C5 and their envelopes are controlled. An adder ADD 1 adds the musical sound signals TS1'-TS5' to compose a signal, which is outputted as a musical sound by a sound system. |
