<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the effect of noise invaded when a component video signal is frequency-modulated and the result is sent by inverting the polarity of an inversion color difference signal in the demodulation video signal, applying frequency modulation processing to the signal, sending the resulting signal and inverting a polarity inversion color difference signal in a component video signal. CONSTITUTION:When three component signals being a luminance signal Y, color difference signals Pb, Pr are subject to modulation processing by an frequency modulator 1, the polarity of the color difference signals Pb, Pr is inverted in advance by inverters 10, 11. Three FM signals obtained in this way are sent. Then the sent FM signal is demodulated by an FM demodulator 2 and becomes the luminance signal Y and the polarity inversion color difference signals Pb, Pr and the polarity inversion color difference signals Pb, Pr are converted into the original color difference signals Pb, Pr by inverters 20, 21. Since the polarity of the color difference signals Pb, Pr is inverted in this way, the signal is sent while the luminance level is suppressed when the level of the color difference signals Pb, Pr is large.</p> |
