LIQUID LUBRICANT FOR PLUG ROLLING MILL

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an aqueous lubricant used in the production of a seamless steel pipe on a plug rolling mill especially an aqueous lubricant containing graphite which can prolong the life of the plug of the mill and can give a product of improved equality. CONSTITUTION:The title lubricant is prepared by using graphite and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of boric acid, a water-soluble borate and a water-soluble alkali metal silicate as essential components and dispersing or dissolving these components in water.
