<p>PURPOSE:To repair castable ceramic product in such good state as to hardly be able to recognize repaired parts with the naked eye without causing difference of physical properties between a repairing material and castable ceramic product requiring repair. CONSTITUTION:A repairing material containing powder of castable ceramics having substantially same composition as castable ceramics requiring repair and having 0.1-10mum average particle diameter is packed in a defective part of the castable ceramic product and heated to crystallize the packed repair material. Thereby a defective part generated in production process of the castable ceramics, especially artificial tooth crown is repaired. According to the method, physical properties such as coefficient of thermal expansion of the castable ceramic product and repairing material can be made equivalent and simultaneously defective part can completely be repaired in such degree as to make discrimination of the repaired part with naked eye impossible. Furthermore, when the area of the defective part is large, a repairing material consisting of powder or crude particles having 10mum to 2mm average particle diameter is preferably used together.</p> |
