PURPOSE:To provide the sterilization treating container of liquid waste, such as blood and bodily fluid, having a possibility of infection, which can easily and inexpensively sterilize the liquid waste and can be discarded. CONSTITUTION:Water-absorptive paper 7a which is formed by sticking calcium hydroxide particles 5b to the paper pieces thereof is packed into a polyethylene (PE) bag 4. Tissue paper 6a which is laminated in a laminar form in the state of holding the calcium hydroxide particles 5b therebetween is so packed thereon that the surface of the tissue paper 6a faces laterally. Cardboard 8 having many pores is placed thereon. A paper bag 5a which is formed by packing the calcium hydroxide particles 5b therein and forming this paper bag 5a to a planar shape is placed thereon. The PE bag 4 packed with these materials is housed in a corrugated fiber board box 3.
