The device for improving performance of the rotary compressor and efficiency of the heat exchanger in a refrigerating cycle, has oil separating disks for shortening the oil circulating distance. The device comprises a pair of oil separating disks each mounted on the upper or lower section and having a net-type separating filter for maximizing oil adsorption area. The oil separating disk separates oil from the mixture of compressed refrigerant and lubricant oil in a rotary compressor.
