BIOLOGICAL DEODORIZATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide the biological deodorization device which saves the volume of makeup water and can reduce maintenance costs. CONSTITUTION:The electric conductivity of washing water 16 in a washing water tank 18 of the biological deodorization device constituted to deodorize malodorous gases by passing these gases into a biological deodorization layer 12 having carriers on which microorganisms are stuck and to wash the carriers by the washing water 16 in the washing water tank 18 formed in the lower part of the biological deodorization layer 12 is measured by a probe 44 and an electric conductivity meter 46 and the volume of the makeup water for the washing water 16 in the washing water tank 18 is adjusted by a motor operated valve 48 in accordance with the result of the measurement.
