<p>PURPOSE:To enable a handrail to be assembled not only relevantly and efficiently, but also strongly. CONSTITUTION:A foundation fixture 3 with a cylindrical support 7 erected in engaged state is fixed to a parapet 1, and extruded to a parapet coping 4 through the punched hole 37 thereof. Also, the fixture 3 is provided with a large opening 11 for allowing the rotating operation of the nut 12 of a screw bolt 9 at a projection position from the parapet coping 4, and a seat hole 13 for passing the bolt 9 through the opening 11. A dovetail groove 41 open to the breadthwise center of a lower wall is provided on a curved and hollow handrail coping 5, and the square head section 4 of the screw bolt 9 inserted in the support 7 is coupled to the groove 41 in such a way as not allowed to rotate. Also, the lower end of the support 7 is tightened with the nut 12 through the seat hole 13 of the fixture 3. As a result of tightening the screw bolt 9, the support 7 is tightly secured between the fixture 3 and the handrail coping 5, and a cap 10 is coupled to the lower end of the support 7 for sealing the punched hole of the parapet coping 4.</p> |
