PURPOSE:To prevent discharged toner from being scattered and the actuating noise of a vibration applying member from being made and to facilitate maintenance by providing a brush roller or a cleaning blade, a discharged toner carrying part and a toner recovering part and mixing lubricant in the carried discharged toner. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant containing part 13 is installed on one side of a device main body 15, the lubricant containing part 13 and the upper part of the discharged toner carrying part 10 are made to communicate through a lubricant path 16, and a supply rotor 17 is installed at the upper part of the lubricant path 16. The powdery lubricant 12 in the lubricant containing part 13 is supplied to the discharged toner carrying part 10 and mixed in the discharged toner. Such mixture and the replenishment of a developing device 4 with toner are made in fixed relation by a control part; for example, by replenishing the developing device 4 with the toner three times, the lubricant 12 is supplied to the discharged toner carrying part 10 once. Dried solid hydrophobic lubricant is used as the lubricant in such a case. |
