PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which has excellent mechanical and thermal properties and does not drip during burning by incorporating into a specific thermoplastic resin a flame retardant, a flame retardant aid, finely powdery silica, a silicone resin, and a silicone oil in respective given amounts. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprises 100 pts.wt. at least one thermoplastic resin selected from among aromatic polycarbonates, PS resins, and ABS resins, 1-30 pts.wt. flame retardant (e.g. a brominated polycarbonate oligomer), 1-20 pts.wt. flame retardant aid (e.g. Sb2O3), 0.1-20 pts.wt. finely powdery silica (e.g. high-purity anhydrous silica), 0.01-20 pts.wt. silicone resin (e.g. an MQ silicone resin), and 0.01-20 pts.wt. silicone oil. |
