摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of an IC in an information processor or an extension board due to a rush current by recognizing that the extension board is connected perfectly, and outputting a signal to the information processor by inputting its logical signal. CONSTITUTION:A microswitch 10 in a connection recognizing mechanism 9 installed at the extension board 8 operates and sends a connection recognition signal 3 when the connector 7 of the extension board 8 is inserted perfectly into the connector 6 of the information processor 20. Namely, when the connectors 6, 7 are brought into contact with each other while the power supply of the information processor 20 is being turned on, the extension board 8 is turned to an ON-state, but the microswitch 10 does not yet operate, and the connection recognition signal 3 is not sent, and both the signals outputted from an output signal control circuit 1 and an input signal control circuit 2 are in the state of high impedance. Next, when the connectors 6, 7 are connected perfectly to each other, the microswitch 10 operates, and the control circuits 1, 2 are tuned to an output possible state by the outputted connection recognition signal 3.</p>
