<p>PURPOSE:To restrict the relative turning position of a horizontal bevel gear and a vertical bevel gear, and to smoothly turn a nonbearing partition panel, by a method wherein the longitudinal direction of the side edge part of the panel is matched to a center pin, and the horizontal bevel gear is mounted on the center pin and is engaged with the vertical bevel gear. CONSTITUTION:Metallic supports 8 each are fastened to definite places on stiles 12a of partition panels 1, which stiles are opposed to each other. After that, pin holes 31, into each of which a center pin 7 is inserted, each are matched to through-holes and large-sized horizontal bevel gear 3 each are placed on the metallic supports 8, following which a pin-supporting member is placed on the horizontal bevel gears 3 and the metallic supports 8 at the upper side are placed on the pin-supporting member 5. After that, the center pins 7 each are inserted into pierced holes 51, and are tightened, and the panel 1 on the left side is connected with the panel 1 at the central part. At that time, furthermore, small-sized vertical bevel gears 4, gear teeth 41 of which are directed outside and are placed back to back with each other, each are engaged with the large-sized horizontal bevel gears 3, and thus the relative turning position thereof is restricted by the gear teeth. In this way, when one of the panels 1 is turned, its turning is restricted by the engagement of each gear element and its position is prevented from deeviating therefrom during its turning, and safety can be heightned.</p> |
