<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a head structure by providing one heating means by a constitution wherein a plurality of recording material-housing sections are aligned in series along a direction of conveyance of a recording medium and the heating means which heats a region corresponding to the line of the housing sections is divided into a plurality of parts so that the recording material in each housing section is selectively heated. CONSTITUTION:A dye-vaporizing laser beam printer such as a video printer or the like comprises a print head wherein a dye-supplying head section 77 as a dye-housing section and a multi-laser array 80 consisting of laser devices 78 having aligned lighting points are provided opposing to a photographic paper. The dye-supplying head section 77 is divided into dye-supplying sections 77C, 77M, 77Y each housing dye of respective color for the full color printing. A one-dimensional laser array 80 is aligned in a roughly overall length of the head 77 common to the dye-housing sections. The laser array 80 is also divided into three sections corresponding to the respective dye-housing sections, then each array part of the respective sections is selectively driven.</p> |
