<p>PURPOSE:To provide a means which notifies that a portable audio equipment body is defective by a wireless remote controller. CONSTITUTION:When a remote control control part A is detached from the equipment main body part B, a remote controller attachment/detachment detection switch 15 turns OFF and then a receiving circuit is placed in operation through a main body control part 11 and a transistor(TR) 13 to enter a reception wait state. A sent series signal including a remote control operation command code is generated by a remote control part 3 with an operation command switch 1 and sent with an electromagnetic wave, and the signal is received by a equipment main body part B and decoded by the main body control part 11, thereby controlling a reproducing device 14 according to the decoding result. For example, if the remote control part A is put too far away to receive a specific code for transmission arrival confirmation 10 the sent series signal, it is judged that the equipment main body part B can not be controlled remotely and an alarm signal is sent from the main body control part 11 to an earphone 7 to give notice of that. Once the remote control part A is attached to the equipment main body part B, the switch 15 turns ON and the reception wait state is reset.</p> |
