<p>PURPOSE:To suppress increase in the function of the subscriber line,concentration multiplexer by using a communication band in common between VCCs accommodated in different subscriber lines for a transmission block between the subscriber line concentration multiplexer and an exchange. CONSTITUTION:One VCC is set to each service from subscriber line terminal equipments 1-3. That is, each VCCs such as VPI-1, VCC-1 and VPI-2, VCC-1 are set respectively from the terminal equipment 1. Two each VCCs are set respectively to the subscriber terminal equipments 2, 3 similarly to above. Then the subscriber line concentration multiplexer 4 terminates VP and exchanges VCs and three VCCs for a service 1 from each subscriber terminal equipment are multiplexed on VPs for the service 1 whose VPI is VPI-3 for a block between the subscriber line concentration multiplexer 4 and an exchange 5 and three VCCs for a service 2 are multiplexed on the VP for the service 2. Thus, the communication band is used in common between the subscriber line concentration multiplexer 4 and the exchange 5.</p> |
