<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a gel layer on the surface of a membrane without increasing the turning flow velocity of air scrubbing and to warrant a high filtration flux by conducting filtration while moving a diffuser member. CONSTITUTION:When the sewage such as domestic waste water and industrial waste water is treated, for example, the waste water is transiently stored in a tank and then supplied to a raw liq. tank 1 by a liq. feed pump 51. A cross- shaped diffuser pipe 3 is rotated by driving a motor 33, air is ejected from the revolving diffuser pipe 3 by driving a blower 38, the filtrate passage side of a flat membrane unit 2 is evacuated by a suction pump 41 to produce a specified inter-membrane differential pressure, and the org. matter in the sewage is adsorbed and metabolically decomposed by aerobes while being in contact with the air. Water is then permeated through the membrane of the unit 2 and discharged into a filtrate storage tank 42 through pipeline 4.</p> |
