<p>PURPOSE: To provide a binary system developer which does not contain any charge control agent, which has a sufficient charge ability, which does not scatter toner during copying, and with which a coped image having a required density can be stably obtained for a long time. CONSTITUTION: Toner particles contain fixing resin, magnetic powder dispersed in the fixing resin, and a releasing agent. The fixing resin is a composition containing at least either one of (1) a copolymer composition containing a monomer having an anionic polar group and a monomer having an alkyl group having a carbon number of more than 12 in the side chain, and (2) a resin composition composed of a polymer composition obtained from a monomer containing a monomer having an anionic polar group, and a polymer composition obtained from a monomer containing a monomer having an alkyl group with a carbon number of more than 12 in the side chain. Each of particles of the carrier has a core particle and a cover layer with which the core particle is covered, the cover layer is made of a resin composition containing thermosetting resin.</p> |
